The Leader Training page is used to track all of a leader's training records as well as volunteer requirements. These include background checks and child protection training as well as Awana-specific training. The most recent training record is listed at the top. This is a good place to see a leader's volunteer requirements and training history.
Notes about Training records:
- Training records can be automatically created for new leaders. Settings are handled in the Admin module under Lookups > Leadership Training. Note: these records will also be added to existing leaders, if needed, when a leader's status is set to active.
Members > Leader Training toolbar:
Add Leader Training* – opens a dialog to enter information for a new training record:
- Training Description - select from the list or add a new value
- Date Completed - enter the date the training was completed
- Note - any additional information relevant to this training
Edit Training* – opens a dialog to change the training details, primarily for updating the completion date.
Remove Training* – removes the selected training. A confirmation is required to delete a training record. Care should be taken when removing a record that has completion information.
