While there are various ways to go about entering an Awana family's information during walkup registrations or from a paper registration, we recommend starting from the Households module. This makes switching back and forth between members of the same household easy to set the information applicable to the registration process.


NOTE: Some features mentioned below may be hidden if a user's permissions are set to Read Only or No Access.

  1. SelectEdit memberHouseholds in the Left Side Navigation.
  2. Select the household with members to be registered.
  3. Tap/click the Edit buttonEdit memberto edit any household specific information.
  4. For any member registering for Awana, tap/click the member's Actions ButtonEdit memberand select the Register option. This sets the member's registration flag to true, the registration date to the current date, creates any applicable Dues fees and sets the Permission flags based on the System Settings default. 
  5. Review the Current book(s) listed for each member. If a new handbook is needed, tap/cick the member's Actions ButtonEdit memberand select the Assign Handbook option.
  6. Review the uniform information for each member. If a new uniform is needed, tap/cick the member's Actions ButtonEdit memberand select the Edit Member option. This opens the Member's Personal tab in edit mode so a uniform can be added under the Role info section. While on the Personal page, also correct any personal information, update medical information and adjust permissions, if needed. Save any edits.
  7. Tap/click the Household's Ledger tab to review the fees for the household.
  8. Tap/click the Add a Payment buttonAssign handbookto enter a payment for the household.


That's it! The entire family is registered and you're ready to move on to the next household.
