By default, T&T silver and gold extra credit emblems are awarded after completion of all of the silver of gold sections in a unit. To award the silver or gold emblems based on completion of a designated number of sections:


  1. Go to Admin > Curriculum.
  2. Select a T&T book in the Book List.
  3. In the Details pane, go to that book's Sections page.
  4. Set the column filter (the small triangle next to the column name) for the Required column to "No".
  5. Set the column filter for the Group column to include Gold 1, Gold 2, Gold 3, and Gold 4.
  6. Select the first record (Section 1.1 Gold) and tap/click the pencil to edit the record.
  7. On the Edit Section dialog, for 'Select Accum Award Group', use the dropdown selection and choose 'Gold'. Save.
  8. Repeat for each Gold section.
  9. Go to the book's Accumulated Section Awards page.
  10. Tap/click the + button to add a new accumulated section award. Select the Award Set (generally Emblems), the Section Count (number of sections needed to earn the first award), and the Accum Section Group (Gold). Select the Award to be given (start typing the name to quickly locate the award: T&T Extra Credit Gold Emblem). Save.
  11. Repeat for the next number of completed sections required to earn the second award. (i.e. if the first one is after 4 sections, the next one might be after 8 sections).
  12. Go to the book's Section Group Awards page.
  13. Set the column filter for the Group Name column to include Gold 1, Gold 2, Gold 3, and Gold 4. These records need to be removed so the awards no longer trigger based on completion of all of the sections in the group. Select a record, then tap/click the trashcan button to remove it. Be sure to remove them for any Award Set that is being used.


For Silver, follow the instructions above replacing 'Gold' with 'Silver'.
